To join the experimental platform of Melle, it is possible to take a train from Paris Montparnasse station. You must get off at Saint-Maixent-l'École station (former name: Saint-Maixent-Deux-Sèvres station). The train leaves at 09H07 AM (Paris) to arrive at 11H17 AM (Saint-Maixent). When returning, it is possible to take the train of 11H19 AM (Saint-Maixent). We will organize a carpool. It is therefore important to communicate to Florian Téreygeol (florian.tereygeol@cea.fr): Who? and How many people are expected at the station?

Nights in Paris

The B line (blue) is the only one to go through both universities. We recommend looking for a hotel next to the stop Denfert-Rochereau. Then you will be at 20 minutes from both sites.

WARNING: SNCF's national strike on Tuesday, September 24.

Nights in Melle

In the tradition of archaeological campaigns, the preparation of meals and common needs will be done by the members of the research teams. It is possible to sleep either in a bungalow (les chalets de la Héronnière) or at the hotel, this choice depends on your contribution.
Les chalets de la Héronnière (Domaine de la Chagniée) 79 110 Chef-Boutonne : It is therefore important to communicate to Florian Téreygeol (florian.tereygeol@cea.fr): Who? and How many people are expected at the bungalow? Each bungalow is equipped with a room for 2 people and a room for 3 people (it is necessary to bring bed sheet or sleeping bag and pillowcase) (45euro / person).
Hotels: https://www.hotel-lesglycines.com/ (prefer this hotel because it is closer to the mines of Melle)

ICA II General Poster Guidelines
- Posters must be on A0 size paper (ca. 841 x 1,189 mm).
- Posters must be designed and presented vertically.
- The poster should contain its title, the author(s), institution and institution’s location.
- Avoid colour combinations that are difficult to read.
- The aims of the study, the question(s) to be asked or the hypothesis to be tested should be clearly and succinctly stated (in as few words as possible).
- Briefly outline your methods. Provide details only for new methods or important modifications of older ones.
- The conclusions should be succinctly stated in larger type. Many attendees read this first, hence it should be easy to understand.
- At least one author should ideally be present during the poster viewing to explain your work and answer questions.
Tips when preparing your posters
- Provide the full title of your abstract (at least 5 cm high – it is usually the first, if not only thing an attendee will read) as well as a list of all authors and affiliations. Use this information as a headline in your work.
- Any text should include the structure elements used in your submission (research background, questions, hypothesis, results and conclusions).
- Provide a clear ”take-home message”, which highlights the main findings of your poster. Highlight this ”take-home message” in the poster in a warm colour. It should also be located at eye level.
- Your poster should be able to be read at a distance. Use colour wisely to provide contrast for each section of your poster. Try to avoid big tables (as they are generally hard to read from a distance) and present as much data in graphs as possible. Ensure that the flow of your poster is logical.
